Who we are
Welcome to Cathedral Quarter Dental, located in the heart of Newry City Centre with over 30 years experience in the dental industry.
Established in 2023, we are proud to offer a wide range of dental treatments including NHS and Private, routine dental care and Cosmetic. Our team is fully committed to ongoing professional development, investment, and training to improve the standard of care that we provide.
Our Practice
Located on the vibrant and bustling Hill Street in Newry City Centre, our Surgery is ideally located for patient ease. We are a 2 minute walk from Newry Bus Centre and within walking distance of shops, supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants. The Practice is also fully wheelchair accessible.
Our state of the art Surgery is fully ventilated providing a minimum of 10 air changes per hour ensuring that clean air is continuously circulated whilst in use and free from airborne bacteria.

NHS Treatments
NHS treatments provide patients with adequate care to treat dental disease and all patients are entitled to such treatments. These treatments receive 20% funding from the NHS.
You will need to bring your medical card with you on your first visit to qualify for treatment under the NHS.
Health Service dental treatment is free for patients under 18 years of age, those aged 18-19 and in full time education, expectant and nursing mothers, those receiving Income Support, Working Families Tax Credit, Pension Credit (guaranteed) or Income Based Job Seekers Allowance.
Some NHS patients are entitled to either full or partial exemption from charges. If you think you may qualify, please ask for more details.
Private Dentistry
Modern materials and innovative techniques allow us to provide treatment options that are not available on the NHS. More sophisticated treatments may be discussed with your dentist and can offer you a more aesthetic finish.

We understand dental treatment can be stressful for some people and we offer treatment in a relaxed environment and air abrasion.
